Ken
Male Founder & CEO
As founder and CEO of TheInfoPro, Ken Male recognized
the importance of market intelligence in making sound decisions and understanding
the reality of conditions of an IT sector's competitive landscape. In
2001, he developed TIP's "voice of the customer" approach to
research and today, thousands of IT professionals, institutional investors
and technology companies rely on TIP's grass roots research, delivered
transparently without spin or bias.
Priorto launching TheInfoPro, Male held distinguished positions with
IT providers and market research firms including Gartner, Giga, Jupiter,
DEC and EMC. Male is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events,
including Storage Networking World US and Europe, Storage Decisions,
and Forbes Emerging Technology Conferences. He has also provided industry
briefings and commentary to such major news organizations as Forbes,
CNBC, Dow Jones, Storage Magazine, InformationWeek, The Financial Times,
and InfoStor. Ken earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Boston
College’s Carroll School of Management.
Bob Gill – Managing
Director, Servers
As Managing Director for TheInfoPro’s Server Sector, Bob is the
industry source on Server Virtualization, Blade Servers, and Operating
systems including Windows and Linux. Bob has over 25 years experience
in Information Technology. Prior to TheInfoPro, Bob spent 15 years in
senior management and analyst positions with Gartner Group. As an analyst,
his areas of expertise involved networking, operating systems, media
management and rights technology, and security. His major accomplishments
included the launch of a business unit that synthesized findings from
statistically-driven quantitative market research, combined with technology
and vertical market expertise. His previous experience includes technical,
development, sales, and management positions at AT&T, Western Electric,
and Bell Labs. He also ran his own IT implementation consultancy, and
was VP of Business Development for an IT VAR. Bob has a Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration from Notre Dame, and a Masters of Science
in MIS from Stevens.
Bill Trussell – Managing Director, Networking and Information Security
As Managing Director of TheInfoPro’s Networking and Information Security Sectors, Bill Trussell is responsible for all research and consulting services covering these areas. Bill has over 25 years of experience in the Networking field, having held senior management positions in network engineering and operations in the manufacturing and air transportation industries. Most recently, he was responsible for the global networking infrastructure for Agere Systems, a large semiconductor design and manufacturing firm. Prior to Agere Systems, Bill held network management positions at USinternetworking, NetExpress and Aeronautical Radio and is a co-founder of IFR Development, LLC. He has served as a consultant in business process automation and IT infrastructure projects to airport authorities, major airlines, and other small and midsize enterprises. Bill is a graduate of Purdue University.
Myron Kerstetter – Managing Director, Custom
Research Services
As Managing Director for TheInfoPro’s Custom Research Services,
Myron develops client-specific research and analysis for many of the
world’s leading companies and technology providers. Myron has over
25 years experience as a developer and advisor for IT buyers and sellers.
Prior to TheInfoPro, he spent 15 years in senior management and analyst
positions with Gartner, Inc. where he provided technical and market insight
for large and midrange server systems, operating software, storage systems
and integration middleware. Prior to Gartner he held IT technical and
management positions with Xerox and IBM Labs. Myron has a BS in engineering
from Penn State University and also did his MBA work at Penn State.
Robert L. Stevenson – Managing Director,
Storage
As Managing Director of TheInfoPro’s Storage Sector, Robert L.
Stevenson is responsible for all research and consulting services covering
the storage and storage networking market. Prior to joining TheInfoPro,
Robert worked for Nielsen Media Research as a technology strategist and
storage architect where he helped build out their 1 PB SAN with over
1800 ports. He also worked for Sun Microsystems, as a managing consultant
focusing on network storage and high performance computing. Robert is
a frequent contributor to leading industry publications including Storage
Magazine, Network World, Forbes, and the London Financial Times and a
favorite speaker at industry and vendor conferences including Storage
Networking World, Storage Decisions and Storage World Conferences. Robert
holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science from
Illinois Tech.
Terry D. Jann – Managing Director, Peer Benchmarking
Terry Jann, Managing Director, Peer Benchmarking, is responsible for
recruiting and maintaining TheInfoPro’s network of over 900 of
the world’s largest buyers and users of IT. Terry brings nearly
20 years experience with executive roles in sales and business development
with the world’s leading IT companies including EMC, SAP and
IBM. As part of the original sales team at EMC, Terry was instrumental
in forging several of EMC's strongest and most profitable relationships
on the east coast. At SAP/Campbell, Terry led the retail industry practice,
establishing client relationships with some of the largest retailers
in the country including Home Depot, Best Buy and Starbucks. While
at IBM, Terry helped IBM establish its footprint in the CRM marketplace.
Terry is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
Deborah Cavaliere – Vice
President of Operations
Deborah Cavaliere, Vice President of Operations, is responsible for the
strategic and operational leadership of TheInfoPro’s human resources,
accounting, IT and fulfillment activities. She has over 12 years experience
ensuring companies deliver on their commitment to meeting organizational
objectives. Prior to joining TheInfoPro, Deborah was Director of Human
Resources and the Compliance Officer for Trilogy Advisors, a New York
based global equity manager with over $3 billion in assets. Deborah
also spent seven years as Director of Operations at Strategy & Tactics
Corporation, a prominent market research firm, whose clients included
numerous Fortune 500 companies.
