I told you no matter where you go in NYC you are surrounded by the missing person posters. I read one today with a hand written update on it saying something like this person's body was found and he gave his life to save others. He was some kind of rescue crew. I felt "relieved" for his family, at least they finally found closure and the body for burial. Something thousands of other families may not even have. Please forgive my lack of detailed reports.
After reading so many of these posters your eyes and brain will get out
of sync. Sometimes I don't even know what I was reading until I realized
I was simply staring at them. I guess my brain went on a vacation or it
just couldn't get passed the image of all those faces. |
